1866 (Sept 22): Fourth rate Envelope from Monteleone to Napoli, bearing 1865 (Jan) 'Ferro di cavallo' 20 on 15 c. sky-blue 'celeste chiaro', Type I in a block of four, a fresh and extremely rare multiple, tied lightly by numeral '109' obliterator with matching fair Monteleone cds alongside. Reverse with Napoli arrival cds of the next day and distribution cachet of Sept 26. Two file folds well away from the multiple, Sassone describes only two other covers with blocks of four of the type I. Ex collection Provera, certs. Sorani (2000), Bottacchi (2001), Colla (2001) Sassone = € 33'750.
