Franked for 1P with 1P/25H (Michel n. 34A), the stamp was partially cancelled by the linear seal "TRIPOLI" of Austrian Lloyd origin. Routed with Austrian steamer to Beirut, here it was taken over by the local Austrian post, regularly canceled on 25/1/1901 and re-embarked to his destination in Italy, where he arrived on 1 February 1901.
