Registered Official Mail envelope endorsed 'Museum' and headed 'On His Majesty's Service' addressed to Paris cancelled by 'Malta/Official/Paid' date stamp in red with adjacent G.P.O./Malta date stamp with 'R/Valletta' registered label and framed postage due hand-stamp '2½d' and '3d' 'in red. Very scarce early hand-stamp applied in red only usage on 0fficial mail.
