1894 Registered double-weight cover from Johore Bahru to Inverness, Scotland franked by Johore 1891-94 4c. (two singles) and 1894 3c. on 4c. pair all tied by Johore 'Star & Crescent' double-ring h/s, in combination with Straits Settlements 10c. on 24c. pair and 1c. on 8c. tied by Singapore '5 April 1894' cds, Reg. label and 'Registered LONDON 3 May 94' oval alongside, Singapore transit dater and Inverness arrival cds on the reverse. A small piece of cover's front was cut out at top between the Johore and Straits adhesives, but the franking seems to be complete with 2x local rate (3c.) plus reg. fee and Straits to GB 8c.(x2) plus 5c. Reg. fee.
