Port of Jaffa, Jerusalem. Feldman (Paldi), 1920-1921
Israel Paldi (Feldman) (1892-1979).
This painting is from his earliest years in Israel. Apparently upon his return to Israel in 1920, after his studies in Munich and Turkey. The signature on the painting before us is: "I. Feldman" and not as he later “Paldi” after he Changed his name to Hebrew.
For many years, no original painting from his earliest years has been offered for sale.
The painting is from the port of Jaffa, oil painting and mixed media on paper attached to a hard cardboard.
