1858 Cover from Bombay to ADEN per steamer "Auckland", franked by 1855 4a. black on bluish paper in combination with 1856 4a. grey-black on white paper, both tied by numeral "1", red circled handstamp "BOMBAY/SHIP LETTER/PAID" alongside, on on the reverse with Bombay 'Nov 58' despatch cds and "ADEN.ST.R POINT/58 NO 2.../PAID" arrival cds (Proud PD2) both in red. The 4a. on white paper with defect perfs at right and cover with minor imperfections, but still a scarce combination franking for the 8a.=1s. British ship rate, and scarce "PAID" postmarks of Bombay and Aden Steamer Point.
Value Add Taxes (19%) will be added to the hammer price and the buyers premium.
