Stampless envelope (vertical fold) written from La Guaira dated 'April 6th 78' addressed to Scotland cancelled by Correos/La Guaira' undated circle with hand-struck '80' and 'T' hand-stamp with octagonal La Guayra' (Salles 1374) endorsed 'via St Nazaire', routed by French paquebot with octagonal 'Venezuela Paq. Fr. No 3' date stamp (Salles 1420) and charged '1/-' on arrival with Edinburgh receiver 'Ap 24' on reverse. Nice item sent from the French Vice-Consul at La Guaira. Semi-Mixed franking scarce to Scotland.
