1946, December: airletter 6d, Salisbury local print due to exhaustion of the normal 1944 version. The provisional was in use a short time and then replaced with a new print of regulars again. Collectors were unaware of the change until it was too late to obtain copies. This is the earlier of the two recorded examples, used "SALISBURY 28 JAN 47" to New Zealand. One of the most elusive of all normal airletter sheets known.
