"SAINT DENIS 22.1.37" (one day prior to stated first day of issue) and flight cachet on front and on reverse, addressed to Vence/Alpes Maritimes/France. The plane "Roland Garros" with team Laurent/Touge/Lenier on board left Reunion on 26 Jan 1937 and flew via Madagascar, Mocambique, Djibouti, Port Sudan, Cairo, Damascus, Tripoli, Rhodes, Athens, Naples to Marseille which was reached on 10 Feb 1937, Vence arrival mark 13.2.37 alongside.
