Envelope addressed to Kango, Luna, Gabon bearing India SG 257, 3p slage ant SG 248, ½a brown tied by Byculla/Bombay roller ’29 July 41’ with ‘Passed Censor/C 27’ with ‘Not transferable/Chief Censor’ label on reverse, routed via Lagos with boxed ‘Censor’ and Liberville/Moyen Congo with circular ‘Controle Postal/Commission C/Afrique Equatoriale Francaise’ censor on reverse. Very rare censor applied giving permission for the dispatch of packages.
