This letter should have gone surface mail via the United States but the U.S.A. had declared war on Japan on the 8th Dec 1941. Argentina was a neutral country but Manchuria was occupied by the Japenese and was therefore enemy territory. A fabulous item of Service Suspended mail to Manchuria.
