1868 Insured registered letter from Algiers to Paris franked by French 1862 30c. deep brown vertical pair tied by numeral "5005", with "ALGER ALGERIE/2e/31/OCT/68" double-ring d/s and red "CHARGÉ" on front, and on the reverse with red framed 'Insured' handstamp (+ notes in m/s), Marseille-Lyon railway cds, Paris arrival datestamps, small circled ditribution h/s "1/3" as well as five wax seals, fine.
