Envelope (opened for display) addressed to 'Monsieur Grossin, on board the Paquebot "Ernest Simons", Port Said' bearing France 'Type Sower' Yvert 138, 10c red tied by Le Mans date stamp '14/1’, underpaid with Egypt postage due SG D71, 2m green and SG D73, 1p ultramarine tied by Port Said receiver '21st Jan' with framed 'T' hand-stamp (applied to Postage Due mail at the French Post Office Port Said) and forwarded to France with French postage dues Yvert 28, 5c blue (pair) and Yvert 31, 20c olive applied and tied by Le Mans arrival '8th Feb' on reverse. Superb item from the French Post Office in Port Said. Exhibition item.
