Steamer" but deleted and carried privately (by vessel?) to Southampton, blue handstamp "T.P./SOUTHAMPTON" applied and franked by LEFT HAND marginal single of Great Britain 1d. red-brown on bluish paper, lettered N-A, (Plate 43?), tied by numeral "72", London '11 Sep 44' arrival d/s in red on the reverse. Letter with folds, one affecting the GB adhesive, otherwise fine.
