Stampless envelope written from Kingston dated May 29 1850 addressed to New York cancelled by Kingston-Jamaica/Paid double arc date stamp in brown, rated '4Æ in m/s, sent on the steamer 'Empire City' with adjacent 'Jamaica/Ship Letter' and charged with circular '10' hand-stamp in red on arrival. Very attractive. Ex Spence.
