1869: "FR.P.S." superb strike of the VERY RARE swedish postal treaty marking "FRANKRIKE PER SEKK" on very fine cover from Paris (29 sept. 1869).
The "FR. P.S." postmark was only used during the first 14 days of october in order to estimate the number of covers sent from France to Sweden.
THIS COVER PROBABLY SHOWS THE FINEST KNOWN STRIKE OF THE FEW RECORDED.
A postage due cover from Le Havre 1869 to Göteborg showing a weak "FR.P.S." strike sold in the Frimärkskompaniet auction of 1999 for 35000 SEK. Facit postal catalogue 15.000 SEK.
