Lebanon military mail. F.F.L. Postal Form of a registered letter's receipt sent by Mr SORIANO, who is the author of Meharistes and Wings subjects used on the Levant stamps. On the receipt was affixed the right part of the register paper label n' 485 used on the letter sent from P.A.A. F.F. L. 1 on 1/6/1942 to Brazzaville. VERY RARE.

Lebanon Military, British airgraph of Broumana origin, to Hasting, England. The original message of commercial character dated 6/10/1943, was censure by French and photographed to be reduced to photo-film and sent in England. Then the film was developed and the letter sent to the destination on 4/12/1943. But "Undelivered for Reason Stated": "Gone Away", forces the postal administration to send back the message that arrived in Broumana on13/9...

Signed by General of Division Gustave Borgnis Desbordes, high commander of Levant's troops. One of the last official traces of the French presence in Lebanon. IMPORTANT AND RARE DOCUMENT.
