Banco Occidental, 1914 Issued Banknote. Salvador, 5 Pesos, P-S176c. Issued banknote, Series D, Black on green and yellow underprint, Woman picking coffee bean at left, steamship at dock in middle, back green with black overprint and arms, PMG graded Very Fine 20, with excellent paper body, bright colors and ample to large margins. Rare note in this high of grade. Only priced in Good in SCWPM with only specimen and proof notes listed in the PMG census, no issued notes. Very possibly the highest grade available for this lovely banknote. ABNC.
