1843. THE STAR OF ATHENS. On the day of the declaration of the Constitution, after a proposal by the Ministerial Assembly, a Royal Decree (03.09.1843) established the awarding of a Medal to the Army and to civilians who took actively part in the declaration of the Constitution. This Medal was awarded in two categories. Medal in iron (1st categ.) awarded to Army Personnel and civilians of the capital.(Strat.106.21) corrosion. Almost extremely Fine
