Thracian Kingdom. Lysimachos, 323-281 BC. Gold Stater (8.5 g). Byzantium mint, ca. 250 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon. Reverse: BAΣIΛEΩEΛYΣIMAΧOY, Athena enthroned left, holding Nike in outstretched hand, resting arm on sheild; long trident below. Muller 148; SNG Cop 188. Well struck and fully lustrous with gorgeous rose color toning. Superb Nearly Mint State.
