AUSTRALIA 1929, The first flight for Perth left Adelaide in a DH 66 Hercules aircraft on Sunday 2 June 1929, but had to turn back due to bad weather. The mail eventually left Adelaide on Tuesday June 4. The route was via Ceduna to Forrest where there was an overnight stop. The mail was then flown to Kalgoorlie on June 5 where the mail was transferred to a DH 50 and flown to Perth, arriving later that day. The postal rate was 8½d made up of...

AUSTRALIA 1935, cover from 26-27 October 1935 ... Wasp Airlines conducted a shark patrol flight over Sydney Forseshore in the "Narromine Wasp" VH-UST Covers were signed by pilot E. Collibee and postmarked "11.30am 28th OCT 1935 Sydney NSW" ...a bit different from the flight covers around at that time I thought ...only FIFTY. Including a picture of the plane and the pilot's signature on 26-27. 10 35 on the back.
