1879 EL frankef with 10x2l. yellow-bistre in strip of 7 (separated after 6th stamp plus 3 singles) tied by Kalamai cds to Kyparisia. Strip of six cut at left but extremely rare, especially on cover. An impressive showpiece. (Hellas 33a).

20l. grey-blue (pos.70) with Grooms characteristic "2" No.9 (2nd 1872/72 setting) bearing "56" dotted cds (=ΧΑΛΚΙΣ) with mirror printed control number on the face of the stamp (Kound. 47.10). Large margins but a narrow part. This is the stamp depicted in Koundouros study. An error never mentioned in older studies, a unique and impressive rarity. (Hellas 35b).
